(un petit mot en francais va suivir)
We are looking forward to seeing you guys for our wedding ceremony July 9 in Paris!!! We are thrilled and touched that you all want to spend this special day with us and we are prepping to make it a memorable experience for you guys and for ourselves. For the out-of-towners, please let us know what dates you will be in town once you know them yourself. We will be planning other small get-togethers for dates when lots of people we love are all here because we want lots of time with all of you who are coming so far!
The event will take place in two phases, first the exchange of vows in the park with a nice view of the Eiffel Tower as a treat for you out-of-towners and bien-sur pour les architects! We will rendez-vous dans le parc at 6:00pm (18h pour les francais) to start this part. More detailed directions will follow of course. Secondly, we will then mosey on over to the quai (riverbank). Between 8pm and midnight we will dance the night away on a private boat with munchies and something to sip. We will take off for a sunset cruise at twilight (sunset is around 10:30 or 11pm in July!! Jet-lag will be an advantage!) to watch the city of lights light up as the moon comes out! Don't worry, public transportation (metro) runs till 2am on a Saturday night and buses run all night long!
Please come as you are! Wear something you are comfortable in and bring your dancin' shoes (or paint your toenails and go barefoot!) It very well could be over 100 degrees in the afternoon, but then again, it could rain. Vivre le France! Hopefully, by evening time it will be comfortably warm so think picnic attire if you need a guideline and maybe think about a light sweater for the later part of the evening. Let us know if we can help you answer questions about being here or traveling around Europe or anything else. We may have some minor jobs up for grabs for those who want 'em- for example, we're in the market for a park sitter to guard our place before we get there and we may need helping hands to prep/load/unload various goodies for the evening. Feel free not to volunteer also ;) enjoy your vacation!! Can't wait to see you all. Again, please don't hesitate to ask questions and let us know once you have your dates!!

C'est un petit mot pour vous dire que on a hate de vous voir le 9 Juillet ici en Paris!! On est tres touche que vous voulez etre avec nous pour ce jour la! On va rdv dans le parc en bas et pres du Trocadero vers 18h pour le marriage et entre 20h et minuit on va aller sur un bateau prive pour feter et fair un petit tour de paris par bateau au coucher de soleil :) Je vous donner plus d'info plus tard. N'hesitez pas a demande si vous avez des questions! Porter des vestiments comfortables et des chaussures de danse!!
